According to hunter s thompson the high water point for 60s culture was the rolling stones show at the altamont

what is yours?

So far i saw clinton give a speech which involved global warming and corruption in politics.

I am intrested to see what each person saw as their individual high water point of society

I'm not sure if this is highest one for me, but the Clinton reference reminded me of this one.

I was at the Inauguration festival for Clinton in 1993. Taj Mahal had recently left the stage and Little Feet was jamming. There were several Republican staffers in front of me wearing business attire, and discussing how Clinton and the rest of the Democrats were going to ruin the country. The conversation stalled. Then one of them said, "They sure know how to throw a great party, though". I don't know why, but it really cracked me up. The next 4 years really fucking rocked.
