That takes me back. It was kinda like a teen reality type show about growing up, etc. Pretty lame show but it was entertaining for a while. Not as good as Welcome Freshmen, 90210 or Saved By the Bell though.

I used to be obsessed with this show! It was a Canadian tv show for preteens (Degrassi Junior High) to teenagers (Degrassi High). It aired on PBS stations back in the mid-80s, and, it was basically an afterschool special/soap opera. The best episode was when this guy Claude shot himself in the school bathroom because his ex-girlfriend Caitlin wouldn't get back together with him. Where I lived, the show usually aired on Sunday mornings on channel 13. Who else loved this show?!

I am watching the new generation on the N right now there is a marathon & I am so addicted to it. I think the star basketball player is going to get shot 2nite. this show was on the CBC in Canada, which isn't quite the same as public television. the degrassi junior high show was all the rage with my canuck friends and i in the late 80's early 90's. they've been beating it to death ever since. i actually saw joey jeremiah in a bar in Ottawa about 6 years ago, swear to god, he was wearing a fedora. it was working for him too, girls were digging him large.
