The cyst thing is just inflamed. He told me to take an anti inflammatory and possibly get an ultra sound if it would make me feel better. So, he didn't have to lop it off or anything. It still hurts though.

It just does, like cysts form anywhere else in the body. There are also hydroceles which are like a buildup of fluid on your nut for whatever reason.
