WTF!? I'm watching it. It's on right now. Is this their Black History Month programming? What are they thinking? At the very least I would think it opens them up to message board jokes. Why would "Planet of the Apes" EVER be on The History Channel, much less this month? What exactly would they have me believe is historical about it?

It's a maaaaad house!!!!!!! A madhouse!!!!!!

Definitley my fave movie of all time. So ahead of its timeits n ot funny. Fromthe premise to the costumes, this movies was the shizzy! The 2nd one, beneath the P.O.A was damn good too. I love some ape trivia.

Back when the boys were on WNEW and the new one was coming out with Markie MArk, I was all set to give Ronnie and Fezzy a very hard 10 question quiz on the original POA, but the FABULOUS AL DUKES kept me on hold for an hour and then told me they had a walk in special guest and they couldnt get to me. Broke my damn heart. He called back the next day but I missed the call and never got my shot ! I know the fellas love the Apes too, would have loved for them to take the quiz. PEACE!

I laughed my ass off and had to watch it, and giggled every time I noticed the lil "H" logo in the corner.

Do you think they consider it Counterfactual History? Exploring different timelines or the effects of causality?

I watched it too, but thought it was really weird that it was on HC. Outside of the fist movie, the 3rd may be my favorite - the apes come to "current time" after escaping the explosion of their Earth.
