February DC bar night planning [Archive]

The bar night at Dremo's went pretty good so it's time to set up the February DC bar night. We've got some people that can only show up on Saturday so I figured we'd do this one then. I'd like to do it on February 24, 2007 at 8pm.If you think we should stick with Dremo's then make that known. If we stay in Northern Virginia, though, I think Whitlow's should be the spot this time. EDIT: Whitlows is out It seems like the a majority of you prefer NOVA but I'd like to see the numbers. Vote in the poll. Which area would you like to check out next?

The only bad thing about Whitlow's on a Saturday is that it's going to be packed.

I havent been to Whitlow's in a quite awhile but from what I remember it was always crowded on weekends. I havent lived in Arlington for a long while now.  Are there any other nice spots you can look into Bama??

I dug Dr. Dremo's (how's THAT 4 alliteration???)!!! I def DON'T wanna go anywhere that there's a band (some of you may remember the "Tender" incident at Thursdays for FNL...)!!! I'd happily go to Dremo's again, it was accomodating enuff. Seems to me, it's about the group not so much the place, as long as it's possible to speak to each other. There were a lotta people there last time who I would've enjoyed speaking to, or speaking to more, but in a crowded, standing situation, I tend to put my back to a wall & stay there. I think it would be extra cool to go someplace where everyone who wants to can have a seat, but that may be approaching the realm of restaurants as opposed to bars.<img src="http://static.flickr.com/52/129359669_8717cb108d_m.jpg" border="0" width="240" height="183" />

Maybe we should do it on the Hill at Capitol Lounge. They do have a Golden Fez Room. Add that to the list of people Fez should sue, right next to 40 Year Old Virgin.

You may want to pick a different date.  If the Bash is the 23rd and DC people are driving up for it, you may want to push it back a week.

I'm really bummed that I wont be able to go NYC for the Hard Rock gig but at least I will be able to attend the bar night.  So, If the bar night is still going to happen. I can definitely go then.
