I liked Prince's halftime show because it really seemed like he was putting on a show and was into it. Not like the Rolling Stones last year, who just went through the same basic routine they do every time. They're on autopilot at this point.

Disney basically owned Anaheim for a long time. How can we be fans of these cutesy Disney teams? Well, they are still our teams and we dig that. We love our Anaheim <strike>Mighty</strike> Ducks and our <strike>Anaheim</strike> Angels, regardless of the enraging marketting our owners do. (Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim my ass) </p>

I love the early version of Satellite of Love Lou Reed recorded with the Velvet Underground. It's in the Peel Slowly and See box set, and on the re-release of Loaded. It's faster, doesn't have a piano part, and rocks quite a bit harder. I won't say it's better than the version from Transformer, but it's a nice change of pace.
