I remember 2 shows (1 live and 1 best of) that Ron and Fez were cut short due to basketball. It's been quite a while since that has happened and I'm greatful for that. Did FNY drop the Nets or do they just broadcast certain games?

They don't show radio broadcast info too far in advance. I think the only reason they'd get bumped to 92.3 is when all the local winter teams are playing at the same time, as many of them share CBS as their parent network. So if the Knicks, Devils, Rangers and Nets are all playing at the same time, the Nets will end up on 92.3. It doesn't happen very often. In fact, I don't see where all four teams play the same time on the same night at least through the end of March.
