I love a good joke, and can take one as well as just about anyone. The whole "Gvac is a male whore, out to bang all the chicks on the board" thing is such a radio schtick, I feel bad for all of you that buy into it.

That being said, I also have to say that certain things are not funny, no matter what the circumstance. Identity theft is one such thing. Someone has apparently been IM'ing board members and Instant Feedbacking the radio show as "gvac" when it is not in fact me.

This comedian is also anonymously "warning" me when I am on Instant Messenger so I can no longer send or receive messages. I'm just letting you all know that for now, if I talk to you on Instant Messenger, it will be under a different name, and I will be contacting you. The "gvac" name is retired for now on AIM.

Rest assured, I have never, nor will I ever, be so desperate as to try to pick up women on the internet. Anyone who contacts any member of this board in such a manner, you have my sacred word, it is not me. You can e-mail me if you like at gvac@optonline.net if you think someone suspicious has contacted you.

The thing that sucks is I absolutely love talking to all the various members of this board on IM, and have posted my screen name since day one. Many times, I literally have 7 or 8 conversations going at once, and although it can get a bit crazy, I enjoy the shit out of it.

I like it when a new member who has a question feels comfortable enough to contact me, and am more than happy to help in whatever way I can. For now, that has changed, and I feel like someone has taken my fun away from me. That's why it's not funny and why I'm so pissed.

Ok, I have heard and read enough,

to whoever it is impersonating gvac...

gvac not only is my arch enemy but is also my friend. We have both been posting for the exact same amount of time together on this board and although I think I am funnier, and he thinks he is funnier, makes no difference to the quality of his posts.

The reason Ron and Fez like him, and read his stuff, is because he is funny, smart and an all around good guy.

Most importantly he is original, and doesn't try to to mimic someone else to be funny.

Whoever you are that wants to be him so bad, stop, create your own f'n personality on this website, and IM under your own name. If it is funny they will read it on the air... that simple.

(by the way, gvac, this is the last nice thing I will ever say about you, and when this blows over I will come back and edit this post so you have no evidence I wrote this... bite me)

I had never IM'ed with gvac until the day of the last bar crawl, when he (probably unknowingly) convinved me to go. I wouldn't have gone otherwise. Since then I have IM'ed with him several times. Gvac has never had anything bad to say about anyone (male or female) on the board or elsewhere. How immature, unimaginative, and stupid do you have to be to steal someone else's identity?
