At first i didnt like the tommy bit. As time has gone on it has become by far the best part of both shows, at least thats what i think how about you guys ?

I wouldn't go as far as saying that it is the best bit on both shows but it makes me laugh everytime. The song that Ron plays during a Tommy call is the cherry on top.

I love when the way some Tommys try and rush their point even though they know the inevitable is coming.

Ron went to a caller named Tommy on XM this week, but the guy's name turned out to be Tony. I guess the screener misunderstood the caller. Ron let him say his piece. I think it was an honest mistake, but I'm afraid this tactic could be exploited by bad callers who are having trouble getting on the air in the future.

I think the bit's better now that Earl has music ready and such. But I can't help but cringe a little when the caller isn't in on the joke... it's nerve-wracking enough to call in without some crazy bit going on around you that you're not aware of. It's like when O&A play the silent game with a bad caller, except Tommys haven't "earned" it by saying something stupid.

Easily the most consistently funny bit in my opinion. The best one was the Tommy that called to complain during the 'machine gun' segment on FreeFM. Ronnie kept referencing it throughout the show, and it was hilarious.

I think its kinda rude to not let a person give a comment just because his name is the same as an OLD reference from an OLD movie! If this was 1970s, then the joke would be funnier.

The best part was when a Tommy called and said a topic was lame, then Ron for kept on putting the song all through out the show and making the Tommy voice and complaining like him. Funny stuff.

OK im all for helping out buddies and all, but it really gets me when people try to get other people to believe something thats not true. Everything drjoek is not true. None of it. The band The Who didnt make any movies and all their albums were shit (not even close to a rock opera). So dont think for one second the bit has anything to do with a song or the who. good day
