I always liked the Jacknife Powerbomb. It looked really devastating when wrestlers first started to use it. Then again I remember when the DDT and Piledriver used to put people away. And how about the Hurricanrana and Moonsault? Remember when those moves were big deals?

atomic knee drop- Backlund-
this move is never done anymore, yet it won bob backlund the world title from the supastar billy grahm in 78.
Polish hammer (good porn name too)Polish Power Ivan Putskis freakish strength led to nothing more than a double ax hammer to the the chest. silly yet affective and very amusing.
but the best ever? thats easy..WOOOOOOOOOH!!! the figure 4 leglock. Flair style! ..(i have seen tony garea finish with a frickin drop kick...no lie)

i thought george the animal steele had a money finsher. he would do that move where he would put your arm behind your back and then lift you in the air. that would pop your shoulder right out, i don't know if anyone remembers that though. demolition had the best tag team finisher ever. peace out

it's true,

The Steiner Screwdriver. Scott Steiner used it like twice in the early 90's. He would pick the guy up like he was going to vertical suplex them, but drop down into a sitting position with the opponents head between his legs like Owen Hart's tombstone.

Gotta go with two from the late 80's and early 90's, the Ultimate Warrior's ultimate splash that was preceeded by the power slam/drop...and the one of the best tag finishes, the Legion of Doom, when Hawk would fly from the rope to take down an opponent

doogie, referrin to the Doomsday Device?

The 3-D kicked ass and still does currently. Shouldn't three 3 stand for death, doom and destruction? Just a thought or does it mean that? I don't have the foggiest idea!

And while I'm at it, one of the greatest wrestling quotes of all time: When asked what DDT stood for, Jake simply answered, in is own iniitable styly, "The End."

And lastly (I swear this is it for now), A half-hearted vote for Disco Inferno forgetting how to do the figure-four.

God bless the cheese line.

I got two more. The moves themselves aren't neccessarily the focus but the setups are what made them. Shawn Michaels playing 'Sweet Chin Music' after 'Striking up the band', and Jake Roberts throwing the short arm clothesline followed by the finger in the air and one of the best DDT's ever to grace the squared circle.

God bless the cheese line.
