Last week Ron mentioned SNL ripping off something they did. Right now, they're doing man vs. animal fights. Hmmm...

I was just about to post it but could not find the SNL thread.

I say this seriously, any young aspiring comedy writer/improvist/sketch composer/actor ect, especially one living in the NY area, is doing him/herself a grave disservice by not taking notes from Ronnie B. as well as our beloved Fezzie. Seriously, these two, if you break it down, are absolute genius in terms of comedy construction and execution not to mention improv, wit, quickness, I mean they have every comedic element that all other comedians strive for and study. I truly belive Ron and Fez will go down in history as a hugely underated program that is more influential than anyone now can imagine. Especially not discluding comedy acts like SNL.

I thought about putting it in the SNL thread, but I thought we could keep a week by week log of possible R&F homage/rip-offs. Also wasn't sure if it should be Entertainment or Everything Ron & Fez.

If you look at the current season's writers there is one named K. Allen.

im pretty sure the SNL writers don't listen to the Ron and Fez show, otherwise the show would be FUNNY!

The show last night with Forrest Whittaker was full of not funny, long winded, never knowing when to wrap them up sketches. Ok, ok, we understand that Forrest can sing a little, no need to incorporate it into EVERY SKETCH HE WAS IN!

They so need to listen to R&F and get a little bit of the FUNNY running thru the veins. SNL is pretty weak at the moment!

When Forsest Whitaker was the restaurant guy singing Don't Let The Sun Come Down on Me, I could have sworn that the boys did something with that recently. Last week they had the Say Anything moment with Dave and the radio, and then Andy Samberg did the same thing to Drew Barrymore. I said to Amy last night if they do a segment on Anna Nicole dying as a national treasure I will lose it!

The couch cushion is truly creepy. I wanna be a writer so I can get stuff for free right here. Also the MR. B YOU're the BEST was shouted out during the news this week.
