If it's going to snow, I hope it's either a dusting or an outright blizzard. Anything in between is just a major pain in the ass to drive in. If it's a blizzard, no work for me!

what do you all consider a major snow storm, sheepy had mentioned 10 inches and i had thought to be major it would be 15 or more. 3 or less is nothing. and from three to about a foot is just a regular snow storm to me.

I love snow but I hate to shovel it. We have a corner house so there is so much to shovel on the side of the house. It sucks when its all wet and icy and heavy like this today. We have had a pretty good winter so I guess I cant complain that much (not yet)

This is REALLY pissing me off! I just walked out to get the morning papers. Sure... There's only 4 or 5 inches on the ground. But it's all FROZEN! I can't leave a footprint, even if I jump up and down. There's no paper for the second day in a row. No mail yesterday, and I won't be surprised if there's no mail today. I'd trade this 4 inches of ice for 3 feet of snow. At least I could move the snow.

ICE SUCKS!!!

I saw the coolest thing this morning driving to work on the Mass Pike. Coming the other way was an 18 wheeler with an iced-over, snow-covered roof. The wind must have caught the snow panel just right and lifted it into about 25 feet into the air. It looked just like the "Phantom Zone" square from Superman II spiralling through the air. Then, it fell straight into the windshield of a Volvo going about 60 mph.

No accident but I could see the driver freaking out and signaling to pull over. It was so cool to see.
