Vacation Bug

Since having arrived home from New Mexico this weekend, I'm already thinking about my next vacation. I have a few ideas floating in my dome but I'd like to get a few ideas from my buds on the board.

Does anybody have any suggestions? Anywhere in the US would be good. Any great spots to share?

Vegas, Baby, Vegas!

It's a great time! The new theme casinos are just incredible. And the landscape is beautiful. There's so much to do besides gambling. The Hoover Dam is about a half hour's drive, and I recommend Red Rock Canyon, which is nearby, also. The Grand Canyon is a drive away, but they offer helicopter rides there which is cool. The New York, New York casino has a cool rollercoaser along the outside of the building, and there is another rollercoaster at the Stratosphere. There are also tons of cool bars and clubs to go to at night.

Not to mention, prostitution is legal there ;)

Oh my god, if there is ONE
place in the world that I
absolutely abhor,it is
Vegas. Talk about just
flagrantly wasteful
excesses! Oh how I
despise the place!!

But on the other hand, if you
are a climber hitting Red
Rocks, it is a lovely cheap
place to stay and get food
and drink, and easy to find
sheap airfare to, too.


My vote goes to Yosemite. It
is hands down tha absolute
most beautiful place in the
US. Just try to ignore all the
god damn tourists and take
it all in. I'm drooling just
thinking about El Cap...
