From dcrtv.com:

CBS's Free-FMers To Get More NYC Control? - 2/13 - DCRTV hears rumblings from CBS Radio that if the locally-based talkers at its various Free-FM stations, a la DC's WJFK-FM, don't improve their ratings by summer or fall, we might see a national talk line-up based out of the NYC-based Free-FMer, WFNY. With Opie and Anthony in mornings and Ron and Fez in evenings, from coast-to-coast. You'll recall that talk radio maven John Mainelli recently took the reins at WFNY to improve its post-Howard Stern ratings - and we're pretty sure that he has his sights set on more than just the Big Apple. Should the west coast's Adam Carolla and Danny Bonaduce, and DC's Junkies be worried? We're also hearing that's why Baltimore's CBS Radio FM talker, WHFS, recently trashed the Free-FM moniker - to be free of Mainelli's influence. WHFS just signed to carry the Orioles, plus Kirk and Mark in mornings. Stay tuned.....

I would love to be able to listen to their evening show without being stuck at my computer.

Didn't Ron say that he didn't want the FreeFM show syndicated, that he wants to keep it local?

syndication is always good, but how about you cant call into the FreeFM show unless youre from NY or an already established DC caller.......then everybody wins

I don't get the whole "this is great for them" sentiment. Ron said that he doesn't want the FM show to be synicated. That he wanted to keep it local because they already had a national show. I can't listen to the show on the radio, either. I have to use my computer. But if that's how they want it, I'm happy for them. It's about them being happy, not me. Now CBS wants to syndicate them a month and a half in? I'm sure if Ron was honest enough to say that on the air that he said it during negotiations, too. So either Ron was just BSing (which I doubt) or it's just some dumb rumor.

This is just DC Dave making shit up. He's been 'predicting' Don
and Mike to other stations for at least a year. He's been begging
for O&A to replace the Junks in the morning (conveniently
ignoring the fact they have the same agent). Her regularly takes
postings from the mailbag and calls them news on his page.

Plus the new JFK evening show started monday (you know, the
one that beat out Jefe and JDubs). I don't think they'd can that
show after a week. Maybe a month, but not a week.
