Those looked pretty cool - but I hope they don't turn it into some POS like "Jake 2.0" which could have been a great show if the writers weren't a bunch of idiots.

the first episode has been leaked online. I just finnished watching, and it seems pretty good, but I never saw the orignal though so I have nothing to compare it to. I will say that like most action based television shows I think it would probably work better as a movie.

And in addition to the two BSG actors, I noticed the ambulance at the end of the episode had ambulance written in the BSG font.

To be fair, pilots tend to throw a lot at the wall as a general rule. If it gets picked up for production, then they can start developing the good storylines more thoroughly.

I'm willing to give it a shot. Since it's going to be on network TV, we can't expect the same "risky" behavior and storylines that BSG can do on a cable network, but I have hope for the Bionic Woman. Heroes has been a pleasant surprise, although I think it would be a better show if it were NOT on network TV.

On Network TV, writers have to "play it safe" and try to draw in a mass audience rather than crank up the quality and take chances. They may be able to eventually take risks once the show catches on, but at the beginning they have to dumb it down for mass appeal.

Sackhoff confirmed that if the show goes to a second season, she's contractually obligated to become a regular. I think that has more to do with the fact that she can't become a regular until she's free and clear from BSG, which ends filming after this season, but won't be "done" until 2009.

I know it won't happen because of the rights and stuff, but how perfect would it be for Jamie Bamber to be Steve Austin?

Biggest change: Her sister is a different chick and is not deaf. The new sister is much cuter and fits the "hot teen" mold.

If they tighten things up a little I think it has a shot. I think most people agree that the pilot was extremely broad and crammed too much into an hour. If they "de-construct" things a little it will probably be better.

Example of what I mean: Jamie's "I know what I am capable of" attitude is just anger at her new situation and she hasn't adjusted quite as well or as quickly as it seemed in the pilot. Add in some insecurity, fear, and lack of physical/mental control of her new bionics and the series is back on track.

Lindsay Wagner wasn't the most kick ass chick, but she got the job done in the 70's. I think Eick can get the series rolling if he is given the chance.

I couldn't watch all of Life since I had to put the kid to bed, but the first half was really good. Charlie Crews is an amazingly offbeat character, but I can empathize with his borderline grasp on sanity.

And don't give up on Bionic Woman yet Chris, I think it still has hope - although I will admit that it may end up being moved to Sci-Fi Channel rather than keep a slot on the NBC mother ship. Even if it isn't top notch, Bionic Woman is already infinitely better than that POS Flash Gordon series.

I just watched it, I think it was pretty decent. At least enough where I'll check out more to see how the show progresses. Maybe it's just me, but I really dig things with female heroines, from books to movies, comics and tv shows.

I agree with Chris a lot of good shows this year. I loved Cane, Private Practice, Kville, and Dirty Sexy money. I liked kid nation, big bang theory, life and journeyman. I hated Bionic women and will be watching big shots which looks like crap.
