The story goes that this song was found on a USB thumb drive in a bathroom during a concert in Portugal.It's part of some kind of viral marketing thing NiN is doing for their new cd. The MP3 file even has a hidden image during the static that's found at the end of the track, the hand goes along with other i<a href="http://anotherversionofthetruth.com/end.htm">mages found on their fake game sort of site, anotherversionofthetruth.com</a>. <img src="http://img250.imageshack.us/img250/7311/myviolentheartxq1.jpg" border="0" /> So yeah. i couldnt get the file to play. and the website looked all fucked up and distorted. dammit jezo! i really wanted to hear this!!!

I couldn't get the file to play either.  Checked out the website, it's a little wierd.  The site looks like a fake messageboard where everybody is talking about the aftermath of a nuclears war with Iran.  There are some sound bites hidden throughout the site but no music that I could find.  Too bad.Can't wait for the new album, hopefully we'll hear something soon from it.

Someone sent me the song last night.  I dig it, but think it needs a few more listens.And the nine inch nails ARG actually started with <a href="http://www.iwanttobelieve.com" target="_blank">iwanttobelieve.com</a>, a site found in the letters of a new nin t-shirt.

The website is supposed to be distorted.  It's part of the chaos theme thing they are going for.

Just listened a second time to "My Violent Heart".Don't know what it is about an upcoming NIN album. It makes me feel like a little kid on a caffeine freak out. I just want run head first into walls I'm so excited.<img src="/messageboard/tiny_mce/plugins/emotions/images/blink.gif" border="0" width="20" height="20" />   Especially with this much effort being put into the whole concept.  From what I've heard, the album comes out sometime in April, with a follow up in 2008. Two NIN albums in two years!!!! I'll believe it when I see(or hear) it.
