Ron should have his own show on TV. He has a very unique interview style. Much better than Dave, Jay or even Jimmy. Maybe on HBO or something.

It's a good idea but I don't think Ron trusts the sound guys.

Damn shame. Damn shame.

I just got finished listening to the XM show and as always with her, it was a great segment. I think Alison Bailes has consistantly been the best guest on the show since it has been on XM. The first time she was on was in September 05 and I remember thinking what a great interview she was

When I heard her I remember how it had never registered with me just how knowledgable Ron was on the subject and each time I've heard him since it's always been a home run. I don't think I'd have seen a quarter of the movies I saw last year had it not been for this little segment. Not necessarily because of the movies they talked about but just because they both inspired me to take a chance with movies I would never have watched before.

There's a lot of guests that don't keep my interest, but whenever I hear her speak, I'm usually glued to the radio.

Also, Ron is the best, as everyone else said. He's just phenomenal at interviewing. His interviews with certain guests (the Anthony Bourdain interview stands out in my mind) have gotten me hooked on shows/movies.

mr b was even able to connect with that crispin glover. despite the fact that glover was extremely contrary and eccentric, mr b turned chicken shit into chicken salad. what was even better, was the post interview segment, where earl played the bumper at 78 rpm, and ron went through the fact that he just had that "whacky crispin glover " on, talking about "some crippled guy banging some broad from behind...and you (earl) can't even get the bumper right, and where were you when he was being interviewed? earl and esd were fucking off somewhere and not around like when kareem was there, etc. "it was hilarious.
