today while i was eating my lunch I heard another radio show bragging about how they brought back the phrase "ham n eggers" They said it will be on their new T-shirts. I had to ask someone what the show was because I immediatly cried rat. I told the people in the lunch room that these radio hacks are stealing from Ron Bennington.

Anyway the show is called Shannon Burke and it is broadcast from orlando at WTKS. http://shannon.wtks.com/ It runs from 11 am to 3 pm weekdays (probably why i had never heard it before) I think it is a right wing talk show (from what the others told me in lunch room, they said it was pro-bush)

I sent an email to wtks program director and told her that she needs to speak with her employees about honesty. that and if they don't back-off the claim to ham n eggers i will sick jow rogan after them.

That's awful.

I was at a street festival a couple of summers back and a radio station was giving away prizes via a trivia contest from the station's van.

When the people guessed incorrectly, the DJs said "Oh Sorrrrrrrrrrie", just like the buddays do.

Hacks.

That's the same station that the Monsters are on (and formally the Hideout). I don't know if Ron ever worked w/ Burke, but I think he did work with the Monsters at some point.

To be fair, it's a wrestling term that Bobby Heenan used forever. That's where Ron got it from.

That said, Shannon Burke probably lifted it from R&F...there's a lot (or at least was) of crossover between XM202 and Real Radio because of the XM 152 channel owned by Clear Channel, so I'm sure Shannon Burke's heard the show.

You know...it's funny./.....my dad used to call me a "ham and egger" when I was a kid....I asked him one day why he said that...he said that I just get an idea in my head and go with it......just a basic type of guy iI guess,,,,he said that I would never be rich but would always treat people nice....he said that was the way to go through life!!!
