We all doubted him...no one thought he could pull it off...I'm sure we'll get some reports of how it came off live in person in a few hours or so, but over the air, the thing fucking owned.

One of the most fun three hours of radio in a long time, and easily one of the best road show broadcasts, which aren't easy to pull off at all (see the O&A Halloween parties).

So congrats, Earl...great job!

Also, got to thank East Side, Pitzy, and everyone else who pitched for helping pull it off...and Ron & Fez were tremendous as always.

I didn't bring a camera. But Mike the teacher was taking pics all night. There will be plenty when he gets them up.

Earl didn't do jack shit. If it wasn't for the Fabulous Cumia family, that show would have been absolute dog shit.

although it did suck standing in the freezing cold, I have to agree that earl did a bang up job. I had my doubts but he did pull through in the clutch. However, did anyone else notice he did look a tad haggard?

Listening to the show and looking at the pictures it sounds like Earl did a great job and then took off from 6 till 9. Sounds like Earl screwed up the start of the show, the mics at the begining. You could hear someone testing the microphones for about 5 minutes during the first 30 minutes of the show.
The same guy that was testing the mic could be heard at various times during the show including, "Move move get out of the way." And my favorite, before the black earl song surprise was even mentioned you could hear him saying, "We need Brother Joe, We need Brother Joe."
The makes me Fez lost a LITTLE bit of its luster when once again we heard that guy testing the microphone thus knowing it was coming.

And while I am at it, I want to blame Earl for the illegals getting busted at the Hard Rock.

Sure we all joked around with Earl tonight, and booed him and chanted "You suck!"... But all kidding aside, I can honestly say this was the best radio event I've ever been to (and I've been to a fair amount over the last 6 years or so). Everything went off without a hitch, there were no technical glitches, not a dull moment, and I enjoyed every single thing they had lined up for that crowd. Fucking A+, Earl... and thanks again to everyone involved for an awesome night!

WOW Mike! Amazing pix.

Sorry I didn't say hello but you were usually right in the middle of taking a shot when I saw you, so I didn't want to mess you up. Next time.

It seems like the event was fantastic. We all know he asked Pitzy for help on at least one occassion; therefore, he receives zero credit for the success. Earl would be on top of the world right now if only he had planned the entire event by himself. What a shame.

Earl did a great job. Usually live events like this really suck but this one came off pretty well on the radio. I enjoyed it a lot even though it was hard keeping up with multiple Midnight Riders and all the hoopla in the finale. I'm still not quite sure what happened but it was a great show.

And a big thanks to the FreeFM website too. I just knew it would be crashed with all of us hayseeds having to tune in online but it worked flawlessly. No big ups to XM though who couldn't simulcast it on their platform even though the whole thing was conceived (I think) and heavily promoted on the XM show.
