I think the Kinks are underrated, they are one of my all time favourites. Ray Davies is an excellent showman, and the clever and witty lyrics combined with some nice tunes were a great combination.
Freddy and The Dreamers? Never made it really big here, but had a hit or two.
The Hollies: Another one of my faves, great vocals.
As for Zeppelin and Pink Floyd, they came later, and are not considered to be a part of the Brit Invasion.

I am glad to see the Kinks get their due. Showmanship and Lyrically way ahead of their time and those great fights between the Brothers Davies

Take 3 Heckler you make it tough to come up with "new "British invasion groups.My "Best of the Rest"Status Quo-got to love those "Matchstick Men" Spencer Davis Group,why not name a band after the weakest player in it,while vocals ,keyboards,and lead guitar chores are handled by 14 year old Stevie Windwood?
