Well, I don't know about that.ÿ When he lays down with the leg scissors around the leg he's giving the ankle lock to, it looks a lot harder to get out of and manuever into the twisting of the ankle lock.ÿMoves I don't understand the effectiveness are those areial moves that involve like sixty thousand twists and turns.ÿ Sure they look impressive, but how is all that movement any different than a splash from the top rope?ÿ Also, the Worm/People's Elbow/Five Knuckle Shuffle.ÿ The only move that makes any contact is a chop to the sternum/quick elbow drop/falling fist to the head.ÿ That's it.ÿ No one should be hurt from that.<div> </div><div> </div>

I like to go old skool.  Cowboy Bob Orton's Supe Plex was always a done deal, and any time Snuka jumped off the ceiling onto the "Unpredictable Johnny Rodz" chest, it usually spelled the end of the match.  Johnny Rodz rocked, he would slap the champ around for 9 minutes every saturady on channel 9, only to lose because he would turn his back on a guy or get into a shouting match with the ref.  He truley defines a Ham & Egger but damn I love the name"The Unpredictable"..lol!

At the moment... my favorite is  Carlito's back breaker, it looks amazing. My least favorite is HHH's pedigree, it looks so painless.All time favorite is probably Macho Man's flying elbow. All time least favorite was X-Pac's bronco buster, it just made no sense.

the perfect plex was pretty cool. sharpshooter and shooting star press/7 year itch were both very good.undertakers heart punch when he was mean mark was silly. backlunds chicken wing. currently jeff hardys "whispering wind" is terrible, AND it has a gay name,

The best and worst are derived from the same thing. Coincidence? You be the judge. Worst - The Garvin Stomp. Ronnie Gravin slowly stumbling ariound a fallen dude's perimeter while gently stepping on each part of his body is the most unconfortable thing I ever saw.Best - Ghetto Stomp/Warrior's Way. Nothing looks like a more legitimate devastating move than Low Ki/Senshi stomping through his opponent's chest from the top rope.

Ive always been partial to Sweet Chin Music as one of the best. Shawn can hit it in jsut about any position offensively or defensively, and it still looks devistating. im also a fan of the RKO for the same reasons, And the Tombstone for the devistating way its exicuted

The worst finishing move is either The Worm or the People's Elbow.ÿ Those were more about making the character seem cool than the actual wrestling.<div> </div><div>For best move its toss up between Sweet Chin Music - with the stomping.ÿ You know its almost over.ÿ Stone Cold Stunner was great because it just dropped the guy like a sack of shit and could come out of nowhere.</div>

Chris Master's full nelson. A full nelson doesn't make you pass out and they're not that hard to get out of. I remember spending about 5 minutes figuring it out in karate.

I vote the Rock on both, The peoples elbow was very cool looking and the rock pulled it off well but do you really think that move would actually hurt or for that matter "finish" an opponent. At least it was usually preceeded by the rock bottom which was pretty cool

Carlito's backcracker looks like there's no way to land that without it hurting.ÿ The Superkick is also one of those great moves where it can be hit at any time and just looks like it would knock you out.

The best finisher hands down is the DDT. Sure, nowadays it's been regulated to a set-up move mid match, but in its heyday it was THE finisher of finishers.The worst finisher has to be the Asiatic Spike or whatever it is that they are calling Umaga's thumb-to-the-throat finisher. **The Rude Awakening gets an honorable mention too....

I aree with the sweet chin music.  It's very rare that HBK lands it without me thinking, "fuck, I bet that hurt."  I also think the 619 is very cool to watch, but it doesn't strike me as being as painful as the sweet chin music. The Hogan leg drop might take the cake for the worst though.  I remember being in third grade ('88 or so) and my friends saying that it looked too weak to finish anyone off. The Worm....is that the thing that Scotty 2 Hotty does?  Anyways, whatever his move is is fucking retarded. Mankind's sock puppet gimmick didn't strike me as too deadly.

I always thought Stings, scorpion death drop was a pretty devistating finsher. (even though he used it more as a set up manuver for the scorpion death lock.)

This one can be the best when done well and the worst when done poorly. The Chokeslam. I love the hold in the air, for a second it can be dramatic if done well.

I always like it when Shawn Michaels does the Sweet Chin Music out of nowhere, it mixes things up a bit. Figure Four has always been a favorite of mine too.The Worm is terrible and so is pretty much anything else that involves doing a simple move like an elbow drop or a slap.

Low Ki still does the double stomp with the guy hanging on the top rope.  EDIT: First post, BTW.

By the way, what's up with CM Punk?  I thought his finisher was the Anaconda Vise, which seems to work well with the character.  Now Vince's clowns have him doing some body drop into the knee thing...I'll never understand Vince.

The CM Punk move is a rip-off of KENTA's "Go To Sleep." He also has a bastardized version of KENTA's combo. It seems like Punk's gimmick is ripping off KENTA, just like 2/3rd's of all indy wrestlers nowadays.
