So this is What Tampa repays Simms, for Being a Man and playing with a Serious Injury

Sorry Fezzie, but I hope this costs Gruden his Job

I think that their plan is to bring him in as a backup incase Simms can't make a quick return. They didn't sign him to a new contract so f him if he's pissed he'll be a backup again.

So much for that...

Adam Schefter of NFL Network reports that Broncos quarterback Jake Plummer has retired in lieu of being traded to Tampa.

Word of the trade broke earlier this morning, but recent published reports suggested that Plummer might pack it in.

Plummer has played 10 NFL seasons. We have a weird feeling that, after a year or so on the sidelines, he might be lured back. The Cardinals, for example, will need a backup after Kurt Warner retires, and it would be fitting for Plummer to end his career there.

Plummer will resurface somewhere and the Buccs will get compensation. Sorry i didn't see you wrote backup. I doubt the cards would pay that much for a backup.

Good, I hate Plumber, he was always a hard QB for the Pats to play against!

So Plummer, Garcia and Simms? This is like Detroit but with QB's instead of WR's.
