Hey Y'all.

Some of you already got a nifty little flyer reminding you of a show that I am playing with my other band "Glennwood" this Saturday. Some of you heard the plug for the show on the Don Stugots Experience last night as well.

The show is at Kenny's Castaways on Bleecker St in Manhattan and we go on at 9pm. I think we play for about 45 mins and there are a few other bands playing before us and after.

I'd love to see some familiar faces and hang with you before and after we play.

It's a Saturday night. It's Bleecker St...It's Party Time!

Check out our myspace and website for info and to hear the music.

"First opened in 1967, Kenny's Castaways immediately became the venue of choice among up and coming acts. It all started when a little known band called the New York Dolls took the stage for their first club gig outside the Mercer Arts Center. It was during one of these New York Dolls shows that Joey and DeeDee Ramone met.

Soon after came acts such as Blondie, Aerosmith, Blues Traveler, The Roaches, Spin Doctors and the poetic styling of Patti Smith. Yoko Ono had a residency at Kenny's in the early 70's. The Smithereens were the house band in 1980, and Phish played their first ever New York City show at Kenny's in March of 1988. An unknown singer named Patty Smyth was performing when Columbia Records came in looking for a vocalist for the newly signed Scandal. And, perhaps one of the most memorable moments came when Bruce Springsteen took the stage for a one week run in 1973. This would be his first ever NYC show with the "E Street Band"."

Lots of history there. Good luck Rich.

You guys are all pussies! I'd go to Bound Brook from exit 62 on the LIE. That's well over 100 miles.

There's an Italian place near there that we like in Piscataway. Bound Brook is just a little farther west.

I do have to wuss out of this one myself, though. The warden says we won't have time that weekend for a Jersey trip because we leave for the cruise the following Friday. It's a 2-week cruise so there's a lot of packing.
