I'm really suprised this movie isn't getting more play. I thought it was amazing. Fincher is just an absolute genius. The movie is so tense throughout the entire time. The pacing of the movie offset the fact that there was no payoff, an 'unsolved' case, because the timeline is so quick.

I really enjoyed the movie, but I pretty much agree with sheepy. The first half that focus more on the cops and Downey's character is the best and I couldn't get enough. The latter half with more Jake is where it started to seem to finally drag, though I never actually lost interest. The movie was beautifully shot and directed and the cast was real tight in their performances. I'll definitely by it on DVD and can't wait to see what Fincher will do next.
