From Rajah.com

"SportsIllustrated.com has added an article today discussing the recent allegations of steroid/HGH sales at the Palm Beach Rejuvenation Center in Florida. This story broke last week as several professional athletes were listed as customers. Sport Illustrated’s story lists TNA star Kurt Angle as a new name being added to the list of people being investigated. The article says:

"Kurt Angle, a 1996 Olympic gold-medal-winning freestyle wrestler and now a star professional wrestler, received two prescriptions for trenbolone and one for nandrolone between October 2004 and February '05. (Angle did not return messages left with his spokesman.)"

During the time of Angle receiving these prescriptions he was under contract with WWE. Both of the drugs are said to be popular anabolic steroids. We will certainly have more on this story as we get it."

Im currious to see how this will play out in the coming weeks.

heres the article from SI.com http://sportsillustrated.cnn.com/2007/more/03/06/rx.trouble0312/index.html

I think if Kurt were not an olympic champion he prolly would not get attention on regular sports and news sites, and would not be classafied with MLB or NFL players.

I think everyone knew that towards the end of his WWE run he was juicing.ÿ Thats why he was suppended for thirty days - his prescription had run out and was still taking them.ÿ Also, in that video package of him coming to TNA his head was all shiny and shit you knew he was back.

Anyway, sucks for him.ÿ As good as he is, Angle is a nutcase.

Vince will do anything to protect his company at all costs, He wouldnt be a good businessman if he didnt. He may have had an inkling this could happen and thatalong with eddie guerrero's death is why the wellness polocy came about. So if the feds did want to look around he could say were doin all this testing and watching out for everyone and if someone tests positive we can and are taking care of it (jsut look at the Great american bash last year he had to change almost the whole card due to elevated liver enzymes.)

Angles name is not the only one out there.

http://sportsillustrated.cnn.com/2007/more/03/19/wrestlers/index.html

Eddie Guerrero, Rey Mysterio, Edge, Randy Orton and the Hurricane are the latest to be named in the same investigation that put Gary Matthews Jr. name out there.

WWE suprisingly had no comment.
