A few weeks ago, some dude from Grey's Anatomy went to 'Rehab' because he had disparaging marks about homosexuals. Mel Gibson went to rehab after his remarks about Jews- for alcohol- but let's face facts- no one would have cared had it been a routine DUI stop. People were calling for Tim Hardaway to seek counseling for his opinion of gay people..

Rehab for your ideas and beliefs (as wrong as they may be- I know)? Is this something we stand for now? "Rehab" is starting to sound like alot like "Reprogramming". Anyone ever read 1984 or at least see the scene from Clockwork Orange?

Does this at least bother anyone but me?

this has been a trend specifically in hollywood for a long a time where rehab reedems the persons values

its becuase the hayseeds see hollywood as place that loaded with temptation and immorality and rehab helps people rise above that

im not justifying it because i went to rehab and got worse because everyone there was way worse off then me as far ass there drugs

i persoannly dont care what peoples politics are and i thought mel was insane a long time ago.(like old school mad max shit)

the fact that these people are insolated from the real world should be whats adressed

im with norton and patrice when they were talking about how you need people that surround you that knew you before and arent going to put up with your shit and these people dont know people like that.

but these are just the rambelings of a drunkerd

Frankly, I think the problem is that there are too many words. It's high time we trim the lexicon down a bit, starting with the adjectives.

This whole thing is frightening to me. It is an attack on freedom of speech, and if we keep giving up our liberties for polical correctness, we will no longer be "free". This should really be addressed by as many famous people as possible to spread the word and sound the alarm.

All I know is Tim Hardaway has no problem in counseling as long as their are no gays in his counseling

I noticed this type of rehab trend lately as well. Going back to the movie "Clockwork Orange". The only way I can put it without spoiling the movie for those that haven't seen it, is that I agree with the ultimate premise of the flick; in relation to the topic at hand. Christ, that made no sense...Great movie though...
