Does anyone else find themselves listening to complete old shows quite frequently? I Tivo the XM show, listen to the FM show live, and then listen to shows from the old WNEW days. Right now I'm on May 13, 2002 - 4 days before the Big Ass Night of Fights #2, featuring Al Dukes vs Black Earl. This is an everyday occurance.. God someone help me.....

I haven't listened to a complete WNEW show in a while, though they're always good for listens, especially all of the Big Ass Night of Fights, the Night of Frights, etc. Good stuff.

When the buddys left NY for DC, I was heartbroken, then I found this site and would download show after show of the DC days. I still listen to the shows on my IPod all the time.

He was only there for a couple of months, but I loved Earth 2 Big Kev, because Ron and Fez loved making him laugh. They did one show where they had a contest for the best caller impersonating a cartoon character that still makes me roll. It was a great show.

I've been listening to the shows surrounding O&A's firing and Billy Staples' on-stage death in Red Bank, NJ.

"Magically" receiving an entire month of of show .mp3's from the old days is like a tiny christmas. Now I can pretend like I've been listening for years. But just with myself. I pretend with myself a lot. It makes the black clouds and fangs go away for a little while.

The first show I ever heard was the September 11, 2001 show. A friend who had R &F underground access recommended them to me that day. I was hooked from that point on.

The whole show is here: http://www.ronfez.net/displaymedia.cfm/id/2998

Man I was glad when they came to XM.

I am currently listening to the 8-21-01 show which contains the bladder buster contest, Al Dukes pissing himself in the studio, what must have been sheepy's first call and what had to be Lenay D's first call.

I have a question about an "old" show, but its actually from XM years. I wasnt around for the whole "smoke pants" bit. Can someone give me a quick rundown of that? what i missed? google and wikipedia didnt give me anything on it...

Anthony came in studio and lit Harry T's elvispants (polyester atrocities) on fire because of the matchbook-on-the-desk incident and they literally went up in smoke, hence "Smoke Pants". After one short phoner from the burn unit, no one has heard from Harry since.

It's from June 2006, Ron was really hot and wanted to invent the most comfortable pants a man could wear http://www.ronfez.net/imagestorage/smokepants_700.jpg
