Anybody watching this? I love Eddie Izzard's stand up so I am tuned in just for that reason. So far it looks okay... nothing too impressive (other that Minne Driver with Dreadlocks.)

Apparently I am the only one watching this. In case anyone gets curious later, it is off to a pretty slow start.

I've got it set up to Tivo, but since I live IN YOUR PAST, I can't see it yet. Love Eddie.

Another great FX show. I'm very impressed. Eddie's Britsh accent comes through a bit more than Minnie's, but the acting and plot line is terrific! I've always loved Izzard's Stand-Up, but this is such a departure for him. The coming attractions make it even more appealing. I'll be watching!

Yeah, Eddie's accent sucks, but he's never really been able to pull off an American accent. Luckily, he's a good enough actor and is just flat out likeable enough to pull it off. I really enjoyed the whole thing!

So what is this on FX? I have Eddie Izzard "Dress to Kill" and its pretty good. Since I am here on the west coast maybe I can still catch it tonight.

I am an Eddie Izzard fan & I generally like any FX series, but Im not crazy about this as of yet. I never thought I would say that any premise is more outlandish than Nip/Tuck, but this might have breached that threshold. Honestly, I enjoyed the SuperTramp fueled trailer more than I did the actual program.

I enjoy it more based on the cast than anything else. The concept is interesting enough, but I honestly don't see it working beyond 2 seasons, tops. More shows need to have a planned finale, like they're a really long mini-series or something. I'd like it if this was one of those shows.

ralphbxny wrote:
also why does the boy dress as a girl?
I just know there's a contract somewhere where Eddie Izzard had a clause where he couldn't be in the show unless they wrote in a transvestite child character. Maybe it's what kept him off of television for so many years.

I've really tried this one because I love Eddie Izzard, but his accent is so rediculous. Driver is a bit more believable, but the whole show has gotten so out of hand. When does Heros come back?

I watched the new episode, and I'm going to stick with it because it's really unpredictable, but it makes me anxious. I like the cast though, and the daughter looks EXACTLY like an old girlfriend of mine.

LOVE this show... so happy it's back, and it came back with an action packed episode. I loved the scene with the security guard... "Well, I guess I was trespassing"... poor Pete... :glurps:
