Putting aside your musical talent, if you could form a tribute band:What band would you emulate?What would the name of your band be?  Who would you be in the band?

I would form a band called Big Pink and cover The Band, although I'm sure there's probably a hundred or so Band cover bands already so named.

Everyone constantly tells me I look like Rob Thomas, so I'd form a Matchbox 20 cover band and call it "The Worst Band To Be A Cover Band For Ever"

I had this ridiculous vision of combining the D.C. Rites of Spring sound with overdriven tube-amplifide Chicago-style harp sound.

It's not exactly a band, but a tribute nonetheless... I've always wanted to be a Zombie Elvis impersonator. Singin' the Elvis "songbook" w/ teeth & hair falling out all over the stage. I even came up w/ a way to have my fingernails fly off during overblown, dramatic hand gestures., & whilst belting out a long sustained pseudo-operatic note like @ the end of "It's Now Or Never," my giant Elvis stomach tears open & 40 pounds of bacon & mashed potatos plops onto the stage, then 2 girls in white panties crawl out on their hands & knees & lap it up as I sing "Return To Sender." The crowning moment would be to go give a fan one of my scarves & accidentally pull my rotten zombie head off (I wonder if that's possible to do?)...<img src="http://i2.photobucket.com/albums/y46/bobogolem/elviszombie.jpg" border="0" width="285" height="500" />

I would go with a Foo Fighters tribute and play the role of Chris Shiflett.  I would call it Stacked Actors...  ..I'm sure i'm not the first.  Their music is just fun to play live.

I've always wanted to be in a cover band of Nick Cave's superawesome punk band, The Birthday Party, but all girls, and we would be called Zoo Music Girls.  I could either be Nick or I could play guitar. Love Zombie Elvis.
