You have my sympathies I had a bad sleeping problem about 2 years ago that lasted a few months

Firstly are you on any Meds? they could be screwing with your sleep cycle, that was what was happening in my case

Secondly do a search for sleep hygene tips, it sounds like simple stuff but it is really important to go bed and wake up at the same times, there is also some other stuff like not watching TV in bed or even reading in bed as well

Also if you can do some excersie this helped me a lot

Ihope this helps Ive been in your shoes and I hated it

As far as being on any meds.. i'm not... I take some vitamins and stuff... I tried to take Valarian root and that didn't work at all.

Ambien doesn't work.

I can't make sure I always go to sleep and wake up at the same time cause I bartend on Friday nights and I open the bar on Saturdays(Iknow I know big part of the problem, but they are the only days I work gauranteed unless I'm covering a shift)

And

I lived in brooklyn and I didn't sleep there either, lol.

Damn, I'm sorry to hear that Leticia, I know how that is. I've gotten better over the years, but I remember how it can be to not be able to sleep.

Watching stuff can help, so in that sense like Mooch said YouTube is great.

In the past when I can't sleep I've put on some Books on Tape, Podcasts, etc and would just lay down and listen with my eyes shut. Sometimes listening to that stuff will work.

I tend to fall asleep very nicely on days I get a good amount of exercise and have a few in the evening. On days that I don't get some exercise, I will have a lot of trouble falling asleep. Melatonin works great for helping me sleep on nights that I'm having trouble.

Yes, Melatonin, or even there's a tea for sleeping....I think it's called sleepytime that I've heard relaxes you, you might want to look for that too.

I'm defenitely had that sleepytime tea, and it didn't work for me. I figured out that teas and organic stuff won't work for me as messed up as that sounds...

it's true.

I did used to listen to music to go to sleep but i sleep with my bf now so i can't play music(maybe I can) and I don't want to waer headphones to bed.

I didn't really sleep because of the music tho...I'd still stay up pretty late listening to it, even tho it was music i picked out to relax me.

I have also tried masturbating, lol. It's great, but it doesn't help me sleep.

Go to the doctor, they've been throwing pills down my throat to knock me out for years, maybe they can give you something that will help.

You worry too much.

If you think about trying to sleep, you'll never sleep. I do that sometimes as well. If you're at all worried about being able to sleep, you wont sleep either.

Try reading, or watching the most boring TV show you can find. I always sleep with a radio on very low.

Or ask your BF to tell you about his innermost feelings, and maybe he can bore you to sleep.
