Though, I can already see this turning into a joke about a womens menstral cycle, I hope it will turn into interesting talk.

If you were givin the ability to visit 3 past time periods, not to be a part of the time mind you, just an observer, which three would it be?

1. The Crucifixtion Of Jesus. I would be so interested in seeing how it all took place. The core teaching of christianity right before my eyes.

2. Auschwitz during its hay day during the holocaust. As sick as it seems, the holocaust has always fascinated me and I think it would be an experience to see the horror play out before my eyes.

3. The third one is a tough. I've debated between the star6t of creation, to see what the low down was then, or to a time during the renassaince in italy where I could see creativity running wild.

Here are the time periods I am interested in order.

1. Ancient Egypt- was always interested in seeing how the pyramids were actually constructed.

2. from 1965-1975- lots happening in this time period...A. the drug culture. B. The rise of the serial killer- sorry very interested in this. Especially the Zodiac- I highly recommend the new movie- very acurate. Son of Sam, Manson- even though he didnt kill anyone. C. all the political and social unrest- ie vietnam

3. Prehistoric ages- c'mon dinosaurs man- what 7 year old boy didnt like dinosaurs.

I would say:
1. Rome 69-96 C.E.; under the Flavians Rome's urban development was most concentrated (construction of the Colosseum, the reorganisation of the Circus Maximus, and other works). It would be an interesting period.
2. India 530 B.C.E.; to observe the Budhha
3. Scotland 575 C.E. St. Columba lived through this time.

1. Begginning of the universe, it would be awesome to see what happened in the first miliseconds (can we slow time down?).

2. NY in the late 1950s early 60s, it would be awesome to see the music going on there live.

3. 5000 bc, I would want to see how many baby dinosaurs Noah could fit on the ark.

Whenever that comet hit the Gulf of Yucatan. The one that supposedly killed the dinosaurs. Of course I would immediately want to be beamed back just before the mega-tidal wave swept up to Kansas or whatever.

There was also an event on the moon where it got struck by "something". A group of monks way way back wrote of the moon "sprouting horns" which has since been theorized as debris being thrown up by an impact.

There were some serious slaughterings going on back in the Mayan (or was it Aztec) civilizations. Three days of slaughter on top of the pyramids. Carry them up, pluck the hearts out, toss them down. In the tens of thousands for the 2-3 day sacrifice festivals.

I say we all spread out our time periods so that we don't overlap. I mean do we really need three people going to the same time period when one could do it and bring a camera? Divide and conquer people

Late 60s - early 70s so I could go see pioneering punk bands like Iggy &
the Stooges and the Sex Pistols when they first started. (I was alive at
that time but I was only a kid. I'd like to go back as an adult)
30 years into the future so I could see how my kid grows up
Early 40s so I could see my parents as kids!
