<p>The thread on the snooze button brought me to Clocky, the Moving Alarm Clock</p><p><a href="http://www.nytimes.com/2007/02/08/technology/08clock.html?ex=1328590800&en=5d19893c85461c37&ei= 5088&partner=rssnyt&emc=rss" target="_blank">Clocky here, by the way</a></p><p>and other inventions that arent the highest tech, but are really useful.</p><p>So what is Humanities greatest low tech invention?</p><p>Spork? Cigarette Lighter? Pull Tabs that dont come off?</p><p>How 'Low' Low-Tech is beats me; but I'd say anything weve invented that doesnt require electricity, no circuits, it could be complex maybe, but a clock might be a bit high on the tech scale...</p><p>I mean the simpler the better; something we've made thats so simple but cant do without/use it all the time.</p><p>For me, right now it's the Pencil. </p><p> </p>
