Last year I went to some concert at The Knitting Factory. Someome here gave me the idea so I figured I'd come back again this year looking for something a little more exciting than going to some generic bar and drinking beer.

So what's there to do in NYC (and area) this year?

Anything like that except not that this year? It was a fun night but there's so much to do out there that I don't want to repeat's activities a year this soon.

go to Boston! wheeeee

I went to the parade in NY once... stood right behind Cardinal O'Connor cause daddy had the Po Po connections. It was fun, but being so near to the clergy quelled the drinking quite a bit.... needless to say. oh well!

For an awesome band, and their lead singer will show up, you can never go wrong with The Skels.

They played at my bar two weeks ago and never sounded better. Irish songs mixed with some punk.

The play every St. Patrick's Day at Flannery's Bar, 14th St. and 7th ave, and this Saturday they start at 4pm.

Get there early, it will get crowded. But no cover, and great tunes. I'd be there if I wasn't working myself!
