<p>I&nbsp;gotta disagree, as much as I like both Earl and ESD, I think in their relationship it turns out that Dave is the evil genious. Look at it this way, when ole Harry balls was around he had the same job Dave has and was probably &quot;delegated&quot; by Earl the same jobs. Harry stayed in trouble and was under constant fire, while Earl flew mostly under the radar, because Harry took the heat when his job didn't get done. Dave has perfected the art of throwing Earl under the bus. We constantly hear Earl saying that he &quot;delegated&quot; such and such job to dave, after its pointed out it hasn't been done. Dave runs into the studio and quickly launches Earl to where the wheels of the bus go round and round and Earl is in Harry's old hot seat. If Earl starts landing blows in an argument that hit too close to home, Dave goes into that spoiled ass, temper tantrum, rich kid, baby of the house voice that only dogs can hear, and dances close to the race line so Ron will stop the argument.....Genius. This doesn't absolve Earl of his responsibility to supervise Dave, and make sure he is doing the jobs he is assigned. He also might need to take note of Daves ever growing on mike time and reasign some of his duty's to some of those obviously qualified interns, and oh yea, both Earl and Dave are glory hounds who don't want to share work/praise. The both of them need to go to one of those corporate leadership camps and learn that the goal is to make the guy above you look GOOD, not bad. </p><p>on a side note, I am married to a Carolina girl, that tantrum shit might&nbsp;have&nbsp;worked when you were&nbsp;romancing the frog ,Dave, But it won't fly in Mayberry.&nbsp;Act like a man&nbsp;if you want that girl to treat you like a man.</p>
