Can anyone here actually say they didn't think Gonzalez wasn't a puppet for the admin in the first place? Or is anyone even surprised at this? I'm not, but it does sadden me as to just how much corruption this admin is involved in week after week and nobody real goes down. Eventually Rove will fall and he'll sell out the whole lot to save himself. What's funny about this is, will he live through it? You know he's protected and never thrown to the wolves bc he can bury them all, mainly bc he's always at the heart of it with Dick.

<p>I think this is Gonzalez's take, in a nutshell.</p><p>"Gonzalez will investigate whether Gonzalez did anything wrong, and if Gonzalez did something wrong then Gonzalez will decide how to punish him." </p><p>More ineptitude from the Bush administration. Is this even news anymore? </p>

While I agree this is another nail in Bush's very tight coffin, lets not forget that as soon as Janet Reno was appointed Clinton had her fire all 93 US attorneys. Honestly, can anybody remember an administration that wasn't corrupt? Maybe FDR's was the last one.

Good thing Chuck Shumer is going to get to the bottom of it. Does he give anyone else massive douche chills whenever he's on the tube?

That smells more like the spoils system, which is a problem in itself, while this looks more like typical Rove-ian revenge.</p><p>Also, if Clinton's administration was so corrupt, maybe it shouldn't be used as the standard by which we judge this one. That pretty much destines us to more corruption. And Nixon's administration was kind of corrupt as well. </p>

Nothing that big and that powerful can keep its hands clean</p>

<p>Talk of corruption is great. But if you want to get into proscecutions and convictions the leader of the last few decades has been Reagan's administration. Ain't even close. I didn't vote for Clinton but when it comes to indictments and convictions his administration was pretty clean. And it's not like they weren't after him. C'mon. The guy was hounded. </p><p>Take that Whitewater business. The prosecuter supposedly offered to drop charges against Susan McDougal (think that was the name) if she admitted to having an affair with Clinton. What was that shit? It certainly wasn't about a land deal. It was the sex. Oh those conservatives getting all worked up on the sex. Ohhhh so steamy. It got to where they had to get something and finally....a blowjob. </p><p>And it's like this one comic said. We should be thanking Clinton. He wasn't exactly wasting time looking for hot chicks. Monica? Paula Jones...YIKES! And that older lady who made claims on 60 MINUTES. And by the way...I still want my money back on that Paula Jones PENTHOUSE.</p>

<p>With the president about to use exuctive privlege, the congress it sure to investigate, the most interesting part of all this is that for the first time a U.S Attorney will soon be asked to investigate other U.S attorneys this is the first time in history this wil happen </p>
