OK I thought I was going crazy. The Friday XM show was replayed at mignight Fri/Sat. The first hour of the Intern Revolution show aired no problem. The first break occurred at about 1AM. When the breaks ended, it was a very old O&A replay (from when 202 got yanked from DirecTV and negotations were under way to get the channel back on DirecTV, and the FreeFM announcement).

Today, the Friday XM show replayed again at 2PM. First break came around 3PM. Return from break -- SAME O&A replay ! What the F? Really wanted to hear the entire Intern Revolution show. Either Shabooty programmed the weekend replays into the master computer incorrectly, or someone really messed up down in DC.

Anyone else notice this?

So it was messed up Friday on the replay too? It's still not right now either. Shabooty cover-up job I guess.

It's kind of funny hearing this particular O&A though. "Six hours of radio", "you are all wrong", "the show won't change" - yeah, it really worked out that way, didn't it.

I was wondering the same thing. I thought I was going crazy too with all of my studying (I am a doctoral student in behavioral psychology, often in the 7 circle of the Hell of No Sleep). I wonder if they will address it tomorrow.

As for the obvious Stern Troll, why didnt you mention the other thing they said about the documented loss of 90% of Stern's audience when he went to (and, in my opinion, bankrupted) Sirus? Yeah..."King of All Media"...

Who said anything about Stern? I'm here to talk about Ron and Fez. It was just odd that this particular hour popped up in the middle of the Ron and Fez replay. Almost like it was a slight against them considering the way things turned out. Can't you put down the kool-aid for a second?

As for the Kool-Aid comment, if you are stating that I am a brainwashed O and A fan...you are off the mark on that one. I love O and A. but I take anything I hear with a grain of salt.

I don't post here very often but I was wondering the same thing. What the F is going on? I missed the show on Friday so yeah, that one hour of O and A Sucked! and before any of you say Stern bullshit, I like O and A Fuck I even payed the 2 Dollars. I have to say that the o and a show has changed. Any way its just my opinion. The Ron and Fez show is the best . Sorry if I bored yall, have a great afternoon.

I probably shouldn't have taken a shot at them for the FM move with all the talk of negatvitiy around here. I didn't like it and still think it was a bad move for a hybrid-show, but that's just my opinion. It did suck being reminded of it right in the middle of the R&F replay though. I was waiting on Shabooty vs. Pasty and I got that instead. Why would you pick that clip? Was Patrice's shit trouble riveting and I just didn't get it?

Alabama Man, welcome. You better cut out the Stern talk. The Oand A appologist are on the prowl.

At least I am not the only one. I wonder why R@F is the best thing going TODAY.. hmm let me say this bathroom humor is funny but well no, it was funny when I was 10. Sorry for the negative post I am just pissed that a great show has turned into that. Oh well, at least I get to hear Ron and Fez...wait a minute I didn't. Great ..................

This thread was about the shortened Friday replay wasn't it? Because I'd like an explanation as well. Now I gotta visit the newsgroups!

I was in the Eastern Zone, so i had to set it to Atlantic to get it right. We have to change it back in two weeks I think, when the MyFi thinks the real DST is.

I have to think the omission was intentional and it was probably Ron's call. I think the controversial bit was the brouhaha about Dave forcing Shelle to edit the Board Gossip piece she did and the fight they apparently had about it before the show. Since I don't get to listen to the show uninterrupted at work (Fuck work), I may have missed bits but the gist I got was that Shelle had included a joke about Dave either buying OTC performance enhancers or being unable to keep a rod with a condom on. Dave seems to have forced her to cut that bit, leading to a fight that Intern Sh-bootie reported to Ron. Ron asked to see the joke and while I don't think he read it on air (or at least I didn't hear it) , he basically called Dave out for trying to "unring a bell" since Dave had blurted the details over the air the previous day.

I'm assuming that since Casey (KC?) was on the FM show and was charming, Ron may have given the word to pull that section. I don't know if Thursday's weekend replays was similarly editted or not.

And to back up Alabamaman, I thought the choice of the O&A break was an unusual one as well. I'm assuming someone picked it because the time matched well, but I don't think it was amongst O&A's most shining moments.

I just finished listening to my recording a few hours ago. I didn't really find it all that controversial. Sure, they fought about board gossip, but it didn't seem to be THAT bad of an issue.

BTW... All in all, it was a great show.

What doesn't make sense, is why didn't they stick in an hour of an old R&F replay? I mean, the replay timeslot was for the R&F show. Why not stick in one of their own 1 hour segments, instead of rolling back to an O&A segment from a long time ago? Maybe because the O&A segment made the whole thing look more like a "mistake"?

Oh well.

The better choice was to have a completely different show fill the edited time up. That way when people tuned in they wouldn't hear something thay thought was from the Fri show. Then they could tune out and come back later on. I don't know if I'm phrasing this right but you get the idea.

Tension makes good radio, I don't think it was either Ron or Fez' call to pull the segment. I assumed either Earl got reamed during it, or Dave didn't want to look bad and went in and made the switch. The one thing that makes no sense to me is why they would drop an O&A clip in it's place. Plus there was a Matt Stryker interview referenced in the third segment that I wish I heard.

I thought I was going nuts on Friday as well when the O&A replay started after the first RnF replay....

However, I went to bed and pressed record on my Inno anyway and when I listened to it on Saturday, the rest of the show was on there. Not sure if they just did maybe an hour of O&A or what but the rest of the show was replayed... just with a break in between I suppose.

Either way, I win! It was a great show btw.... :)
