I have read on the board a couple of times of people here being able to tivo the buddys and I have tried to manually record it a couple of times as well as called directv who told me it wasn't possible. Could somebody shed some light on this and help me out please, thanks.

I don't know much about Direct TV or Tivo, but I recall a few board members saying it wasn't possible. Some have said they do record it on a VCR, though.

just manually set your Tivo to record channel 879 from 12-3pm M-F and you should be all set. Its easy as pie!!

It doesn't work with the Directv Tivo, but it does work with the new version of Directv DVR. I think it's the R15.

Yea, DTV locks you out with their software but if you have an non-DTV Tivo it will work fine.

I've got 2 DirectTV Tivos and a regular Series 2 Tivo upstairs and upstairs is the only unit I can record the boys on.

A way to record XM,Sirius,FM,AM...any audio.

ADS INSTANT MUSIC and

a program called POWER RECORD.

You can record any audio source

thru INSTANT MUSIC via USB and

use POWER RECORD like a VCR.
