My phone broke today so I am going to get a new phone/plan at Verizon on my lunch break. Wheee!

I am technologically retaaaaahded, so if you darlings have any suggestions for me, I would really appreciate it.

I don't need anything silly... I have a shiny new Ipod Nano (Thank You Ron and Fez and Free FM!) and a Pioneer Inno so I am covered with the new tech toys that I can be clueless about. I just need voice/text - lots of texting/pictures - the basix.

Suggest Away! Thank you!

I have an verizon Motorola E815 and I love it. I'm not sure what a comparable phone would be, but it sounds like the Motorola V325i.

I got a lg-cu500 from cingular and a gig storage. It hooks into my computer like a mass storage device (no special program). Its great for vids too.

If you do a lot of texting, I'd definitely suggest the enV. I have The V, which is basically the same thing, and it couldn't be better for texting. Plus, its really durable. I've dropped it a LOT and it keeps working fine.

Plus, it's just a cool looking phone. And people are always interested, for some reason, when you open your phone.

I bought the Samsung u740 about a month ago. I friggin love this thing. Small enough to throw in your pocket and with many cool features. The keyboard is small but you get accustomed to it pretty quick.

I don't think you will be sorry if thats the Samsung you purchased.
