As most of you know, I lost my mom this past November. And while I was her only child, she had two other babies who meant the world to her.

Their names are Minnie and Olivia and they desperately need a home.

Both are orange and white tabby sisters, 6 years old, spayed, house trained, and extremely loving. They have lived together for their whole lives, so I would prefer not to split them up. However, if I can find two good homes, I will do what is necessary to give them the new families and the care and attention they deserve.

It breaks my heart that I cannot take them with me... but I already have two cats of my own. I have posted this in other places to no avail. And to be honest, I worry about giving them to complete strangers from Craigslist... only because they are like a part of my family... and my memories. Sorry for the Corny...

Here they are.... if you or anyone you know can help me place them... I will be ever-grateful. Time is moving on and once I get the apartment cleaned out I will not be able to pay rent just to keep these guys in there...

Awww! they are "adoobly" . . . too bad my building is "no pets" and I'm allergic.

However, one of my coworkers volunteers as a foster "family" for the kitties at his local shelter in/around Hoboken, so he may know people who are good eggs and can take both of them. PM me so I don't forget to ask him about them, OK?

Sorry Friday, but wrong week for me with the felines. One of my cats is having a pissy week, literally. She's pissed on my jacket and on my son's backpack.

I so wish I could, but I already have 3 orange and white kitties and a puppy (and the strays outside).

Try contacting friends of felines, or go to the local Petco and see what rescue organizations have cats there for adoption. Those organizations usually take cats in and foster them in their homes, and then take them to Petco for adoption fairs and screen all the applicants. In a sad situation like yours where their owner died, they will usually take the cats in.

I am getting desperate here, kids.
Honestly, if someone can take them in and give them a loving home I would be more than willing to keep them in food/treats/litter on my own dime.
They are family after all..... :)
There was a miscommunication this weekend while I was still away in Vegas and they didn't have fresh food/water for over 3 days. I was devastated and it made me realize that even though they have eachother... they seriously need to be adopted in order to get the care they need.

Oh man, good luck Friday, I would love to take them in but I don't think it would be logistical to fly them out to CA, then move them to Georgia.
what about asking Fez? Seriously?

Actually... I did send an email to the boys today, copying Dave... asking Fez if he would be interested.
They are such great cats... and independant. So they would give love unconditionally and be able to be left for a few days at a time. And they would really make perfect companions for any apartment dweller - having grown up in an apt their whole lives.
Plus they come with their own cat-sitter for when he is out of town - ME!

I know a good shelter that won't euthanize them, and actually gives a shit about who wants to adopt them (meaning they won't give them to anyone who would be bad for them). It's based in Oakland. I volunteer there from time to time.
If they have space, that's another matter... but if you find no takers, you might want to give them a call and see what they say. Nothing final...just check out your options.

thanks so much for helping to get the word out, y'all... I really appreciate it!
I have a few leads but nothing at all solid yet ... and the most important thing is that they have someone to love.
PM me or post here if you have any questions or need my email/phone number. :)

My lil buddy passed on a few weeks ago, I'm not sure how keen my parents are on me bringing home new pets.
I'll hit you up :)

Please rename these cats Fuzz Whatley and Catty Pneumonia if you get them in tribute. That's what I ask!

Hope you this all works out for you.
It would be a shame if you were froced to give them to someone you don't know/trust.
Wish I could help, but my cat is schizoid. She hates/is afraid of all living things except me.
As far as a cat and an owner goes, you couldn't ask for a better match.

They are a couple of great cats. If I didn't have my own cat and a rabbit to take care of I'd take them in. They deserve a nice home.

I wish I could but Buddy has Feline Leukemia. I do know of a local non-kill place and I would be willing to drive down to Jersey to take them back up here to that place.

I want to say thank you to everyone who spread the word and helped me out with the kitties. You guys are the bestest.
Today Minnie and Olivia will be heading to their new home. A bittersweet bit of news for me, I must admit I am pretty sad as I type this, as I will miss them dearly. But they are heading to a good home - together. And this is the best thing for them... they need love and they have lots of it to give.
