Every single time the board has undergone a format change I've hated it at first but then I grew to love it.

Only time will tell if that's the case this time.

It gives it a much nicer and cleaner look, almost professional sort of thing.. it's nice but it also feels generic compared to the old mess that we all loved. I am sure I'll get used to it eventually.

It looks more like a few of the other boards I'm on now. I'm not sure if that means I like it or don't, but I certainly don't hate it. I probably just fear change. The old board did have a uniqueness to it that I'll miss, but life goes on. Viva la new board!

try "today's posts" at the top of the page. as far as i can tell it is the same thing as the old active threads page.
love the new board, glad it is still blue. it's soothing. i find this the easiest and most operable board, which is why i joined in the first place. great job buddays!

I liked the 100 posts per page option on the previous version. That especially helped when searching through listening threads. This new version has a 50 posts per page thread cap.

another great feature is that you can just scroll your mouse over the thread and it will show you what the person posted rather than waste my time opening it if it looks stupid.

One thing I don't like about the new board is that the sigs are now like the avatars - in all of my posts now will have the same sig that I'm currently using, rather than keeping the sig I was using at the time I made my original post. I like to see old posts with different sigs.

Yeah, I vote for the modify like the others, being able to edit your own posts seems like a better idea over not.

I remember back in the day on the old board you had it where you couldn't modify your own topics, that stunk, but then you changed it and the world was a happier place.
