Does anyone know where there are any clothing donation bins near Lindenhurst in Suffolk County (maybe in Massepequa, Amityville, Babylon)? I have tons of clothing and shoes to drop off, but I'm still pretty new to the area and haven't seen any.

In Massapequa in the Nautilis Diner Parking lot there are bins in the right corner. The diner is off of merrick road on the opposite side of the street from 7-11

Do you know whose bins they are? Some of them just sell the clothes to make money and the people who buy the clothes cut them into rags. They usually tell you that on the side of the bin in small print if thats the case. I hate putting clothes in decent shape in bins like that if they're only going to cut them up. Organizations like P.A.L. do that. I tried googling on this and could only find this: "American Recycling is a for-profit company that sells the clothes it collects to recyclers in New York City. The company acknowledged this week that it pays just $700 a year to each of the beneficiaries of its boxes." St. Vincent de Paul Society is a good organization on LI to donate clothes to.

there's a good will drop off on 109 in West Babylon and one at St Joseph's in Babylon Village.
