Has anyone read the book? I just picked it up tonight and I was just curious how my fellow RonFez.Net felt about the book.

I read "Grimus", one of, if not his first book. it was pretty good, very Vonnegutesque. I picked up "Satanic Verses" a year ago but just haven't gotten to it yet. It seems everytime I start to read it I end up having to take a flight somehwere. Not the best airline reading for several reasons.

I thought it was one of the weakest of his (amazing) books. Its good, but not fatwa good. My favorite is still "Midnight's Children," his first book from a zillion years ago.
