Lenay D said on freeFM last night that she was home sick and heard Fez doing the Paul O opening on XM. She or maybe someone else mentioned that she also tapes the show.
I find it hard to believe that her parents allow her to do that. Most of the crap that comes out of ESD's mouth is totally inapropriate for a 10 year old. (No offense Dave).
I know when she's in studio, the boys tone it down.
I have to believe that Mikey D played the new opening for her. What do you think?

Doesn't matter, Lenay D is cool!

I think you should let Mikey D raise his kid how he wants to and mind your own business.

You are right Moe. It is a parent's responsibility to decide these things. But Mikey D shouldn't complain when something on the show offends her.

I doubt that if I had a kid i'd let them listen to the XM show but thats me. Thats part of being a parent, judging what is okay for your kid.

The XM show isn't that bad, and it really is his business how he raises his child.

My 6 year old nephew listens to the XM show when he visits me, but his mom won't let him listen. I get to be the corrupting uncle for a few days out of the week. He also listens to Lenay when he comes over, as his mom limits his home computer time. Kids hear worse than Ron & Fez at school.
i wouldn't let my kid listen to the show. for one, it's definitely got "adult content" a lot of the time. also, i just don't think a kid would appreciate the level of humor and occassional intelligence in the discussions. however, i do plan to incorporate ron's genius into my daily life, and teach my kids not to be a rube and that sometines girls DO deserve to get hit, and how the N-word is sometimes funny but never quite appropriate, even in private. my kid will think i came up with all of it on my own, too.
all that being said, lenay never had a chance at normalcy, regardless of what she listens too.

I pulled my nose out of my Dad's ass for a second Mr. Stugots to reply.
The reason for my post was to point out that maybe Fez was right in saying that Lenay may not be hearing this stuff first hand, but is played for her later on.
I don't care how people raise their kids, and it ISN'T my business.
I realize my post came off that way and for that I want to apologize to Mikey D and family.
OK let the ass kickin' continue...

You may not agree with her listening to the XM show but as long as Lenay's been taught and raised right, it shouldn't be an issue. As mentioned before, kids are exposed to far worse on a daily basis. It's up to her parents' discretion what is appropriate or not for her to listen to.

My daughter is 10 and remembers Ron & Fez from WNEW days. She sometimes hears the XM show on the replay and definately heards the Free Fm shows. What she hears on the XM show is nothing new to her. She hears the same or worse language in school, when we are out, from her father! LOL
What is the big deal that Lenay listens?

If a 10-year-old's dad is going to let her listen to and participate as a regular on an adult show, he should make sure she's going to be able to TAKE what they say with a sense of humor.
Lenay allegedly couldn't take Fez's (mild and funny) joke.
Curiously, they have referenced her speech style numerous times before, and it didn't seem to bother her then, but now it makes her cry in the corner.
Has Mikey D prohibited her from calling/listening anymore, given how dangerously "hurtful" the show is?
