With the way so many shows take breaks and stuff, it's impossible for me to have a regular schedule. Fortunately, since Comcast took over Adelphia, the on screen channel guide now shows if an episode is new.

in an ideal world i would be able to watch the following schedule on time as it airs;

monday: heroes, csi: miami
tuesday: svu
wednesday: antm, friday night lights, lost,top chef/project runway etc
thursday: grey's anatomy, csi

i can't remember what day rescue me is on. i think it's tuesday. so when that comes back. that is a major priority in the land of tv watching.

i have no idea what is on tv on fridays or for the rest of the weekend.


i work really weird hours & dvr everything i want to watch. my boyfriend lives up at school for most of the week & we like to watch lost, heroes, & grey's together so i have to save it for the weekend. i'm so behind with grey's. i think i have about 3 months worth saved on my dvr.


my daily tv watching usually goes like this:

midnight: csi on spike
1am: psych or monk on usa or magnum pi on sleuth (such an awful show)
2am: double futurama on the cartoon network
3am: family guy
3:30 (if iam still awake): aqua teen

& sunday nights i get 3 hours of csi from 11pm-2am on spike.

I'm getting caught up on House reruns now that USA is showing them at a time when I can watch them and not lose sleep.

I DVR MythBusters and watch it on Thursday afternoons when I get home from work because I've been so exhausted lately ... I do love fast-forwarding through the commercials.

I watch Burn Notice when they re-show new episodes on the weekends, so I've been able to keep up with the show despite neither DRV-ing or staying up to watch it.

I got into watching Monk and Psych the last couple of seasons because Psych is just so silly. And Monk has been on-and-off featuring Hector Elizondo as Monk's shrink, since Stanley Kamel died earlier this year. I love Hector Elizondo.

I watch reruns of Scrubs when there's nothing else on (I finally saw all the episodes I'd missed ... twice ...)

And I just DVR'd two Discovery Channel specials about dinosaurs that I am looking forward to watching when I get home so that I don't have to watch NCIS.

In the meantime, I'm waiting for 24 to come back.
