Anyone else digging this band as much as I am? I first heard of them by reading the book "Between a Rock and a Hard Place" the story of a guy who got his arm caught by a boulder in a crevice in Utah while hiking and had to cut his arm off to free himself. Humming their tunes helped him get through the ordeal. He was on one of those ridiculous "Man Rules" beer commercials. Anyway, Yonder manages to completely rip despite being a drummer-less sort of bluegrass band who can jam with the best of them. I got me tickets to see them in Eureka, Ca on 4/20(yippee!) and then on 4/21 at the Fillmore in San Fran. Music is more gooder!!

I'm a big fan of yonder mountain....first saw them at the telluride bluegrass festival which the coolest festival in the country. Seen them a bunch of times since....I would recommend to anybody who's a fan of acoustic music.

i like their music as well, i have a few of their live cds. i saw the lead singer playing with a different band in st. louis a few years back and was amazing. i think it was tin can or something like that. im not positive though.
