it was about, obviously, sleeping.

the sound clip was basically a man and a women conversing about sleep...the man had not slept in over a year while the women was trying to tell him that everyone goes through some sort of insomnia from time to time.

it was from "The Machinist" with Christian Bale as Trevor Resnik (like Trent Reznor from Nine Inch Nails. awesome movie, great performance by Mr. Bale.

Yeah I ripped it and sent it in a couple of days ago and they played it.

Highly recommended movie, a 12 Monkeys-ish plot and a Christian Bale that looks utterly horrific. He's talking to Jennifer Jason Leigh, btw, if no one mentioned that yet.

he lost all the weight for the machinist & then had to gain it all back plus more for batman. he said he never ever wants to go through that again. excellent movie. he's one of my all time favorite actors (unfortunately for being a part of harsh times, he will never ever reach the top of that list).

Mr. Bale is also one of my favorites & i like Harsh Times. It was truly disturbing, but once again great performance by Mr. Bale.

i think the movie was just toooo toooo awful for me to be able to focus on how great he was in it. i went with 5 other people & all of us sat there thinking "ok, this is when something interesting is going to happen........ok THIS is when something interesting is going to happen"

i got a talking patrick bateman doll for my birthday. it's in my room hanging out next to my tv & when i turn it on it says a different line from the movie every time someone walks by it.
