So, who's in for this series? I watched the first episode and the first thing I came away with was "hey, look at all the boobs and sex" and the second thing was that I'll give it a shot since I seem to like these sorts of premium TV shows. It didn't grab me like Rome did but at least it's a decent effort, hopefully it will go somewhere good.

Watch every ep so far.. digging it.. I am kinda iffy on the Ann Berlin chick.. There are times i find her hot, and times ehh..Somethng about her mouth and chin that does not match her.. Great bod and nice eye though..

Well, I just finished watching the first season.(it's been green lighted for a second season)
I must say, I really like it.
Well written, it kept my intrest all the way through.
Natalie Dormer is beyond hot.
It was a little like Rome, exept replace the violence with more sex.
New season in 2008.

That had me a little off at first too, but so far he's shown himself to be a good actor.

I thought I was the only one enjoying this show.
Kinda hard to recommend to friends without selling the sex angle though. But I like the history aspect of it.
And as far as the hunk playing him instead of some fat guy; Henry VIII was actually very athletic in his youth, but later in life due to a sport related injury, and subsequent poor diet, he BECAME the portly monarch that we all know and love.

and its been said before, but Natalie Dormer as Ann Boleyn is indeed the sexiest part of the show, whether clothed or not. She even looks like the real Ann Boleyn a bit.

I've been watching it from the beginning. I love it, but a lot of it isn't very historically accurate. It makes for very good entertainment. Now I have to wait till 2008 for the 2nd season. It's the Soprano addiction all over again.
