Whenever I hear Fez say he feels alone, I wish someone would just remind him that in addition to Ron and the crew of the show, he's got a lot of people (dozens/hundreds/thousands?) of people who he can talk to every day. With this board and the phones and everything, you could say that we're not just listening even though it's not exactly what you'd call a "conversation."

The same thing goes for Paul and Gail. I never met either of them, but I did hear some of the things that they went through over the last few years, and I was shocked and saddened to hear she died. I feel like someone I knew... even thought she didn't know me... is gone.

I hesitated posting in this thread, as it's weird to try and say something to someone you don't know. After seeing the 6 pages of this thread, I decided to give it a try.

Paul, sincere condolences. I feel you have let us in to a voyeuristic peek at your life and hers, which was obviously not what you initially expected. I had a family member who was bi-polar, and I can't think of anything more frustrating/upsetting.

There are various times during the illness when you wish that person died, since you could then remember them for what they were, and not what they had become; however, when the tragedy finally does happen, its still sad. Even though you have tried to move on, I'm sure this is still devastating.

Take consolation in the good memories, and how there are many people here who wish Gail restful peace and to ease your pain.

First off, Paulo was a wreck. Second, all of them sounded rattled by it...Ron, Fez, Paul...and lastly faking a death just isn't a Ron & Fez style bit.

As a fellow Christian (Protestant, not Catholic) I am sad to hear about Gail-O dying. She was so depressed. I kept hoping that something or someone would enter her life to show her her purpose on this earth. Unfortunately that didn't happen in time. The cool part is that she is now in Heaven, and perfectly healthy, happy and in tune with her Maker.
Thank God for the Eternal Promise of Heaven.

I think the experience has been unique for all of us ,
allowing every individual to express subconscious feelings about their own love ones or perhaps how they hope to be remembered.....
