I'm Afraid to sleep

It Started around midnight last night. I was woken up every hour by a strange dream. The dream would continue after I fell back to sleep. I tried everything to snap out of it i would stay up for 20 mins to get my sympathetic nerve system back into wake mode, munch on tastycake all to no avail it would pick up right where it left off.
It's back again tonight. I went to bed right after the free show and it's now my second time awake since 9:30 and the dream is back. that sucks man. i usually get up and walk around my apartment for a few minutes when this happens to me. try going on a walk around your block or something, maybe some fresh air will clear your head. same thing happened to me about a week ago. it wasn't a dream, but i woke up in a cold sweat and was SUPER paranoid that there was someone in my apartment. really freaked me out and i didnt sleep the rest of the night

Just went for a walk and took the alfa for a white knuckler on the belt parkway. Thanks for the advice.

Im sorry im butting in on your thread boxer, can we do a dreams thread? I had a really odd one today that woke me up 10 minutes after i fell asleep. I was in the shower with a fan, one of those big stand up fans, hanging out. I look out and my brother and his girlfriend are in another bathroom getting ready for something. Then this girl who i liked but we are kinda on the outs walks into the room with my brother and his girlfriend and starts getting ready. At this point i look down and im wearing boxers. I walk out and purposely ignore eveyrone and go to my room. Then i woke up to the sopranos opening music. That and my brother has been dead for 2 years. Whew alright im a little weirded out.
