Whelp its spring and its Motorcycle riding season again. All of us who drive cars have to check our rear view mirrors twice and look out for bikers.
This happens every single goddam day from April to October.
I am sitting in traffic at a dead stop on RT 15 coming home from work. We are all sitting in traffic at a dead stop for close to a 1/2 an hour and have only moved 100 feet. Road Rage level is at a 10. I look in my driver side mirror and see some douchebag on a crotch rocket traveling in between lanes and passing all of us. I swear to god there is going to be a day where I see one coming on my left side and I am just going open my car door and have one of these shit-for-brains collide into my door. There is a bug key mark on my door so by doing that at least I will get a new door on their insurance.
I have no beef against bikers in fact one day I want to get one(and i would ride it responsibly). But these assholes that think the white line on the road is a special lane for them need to suffer serious injury.
Am I the only one that gets pissed off about these 'tards

People like that give bikers a bad name. Real bikers should stomp the shit out of every one of those guys.

i can't stand the guys that weave in and out of traffic on the highway at 100 mph. they come up on you so fucking fast you can't see them and i always think im gonna fucking kill one of them someday when i don't see one coming.

I agree with you Friday- I was just being lazy by not writing "motorcyclist" over and over-
No offense to bikers
I dont need the "81" visiting my house.
Support 81.
Dear Mister Roadrage,
In many places "splitting lanes" is legal on motorcycles when traffic is stopped.

Not here- Ive seen at least 6 of them pulled over for that.

And in the states that it is legal just keep in mind that people may be as road raged as me and I personally knowing that frustration would not even consider doing lane splitting for my own safety from malicious fuks like myself.

A Buhl is a Harley.
Actually, I think it's more of a partnership with Harley, than an actual Harley. But yeah... that's why I said they're acceptable.

In CA its legal for motorcyles to split cars on the freeway. The thing is a lot of bikers take advantage of this and do stupid shit, which they can get pulled over for, there is a lot of discretion granted to highway patrol, if they see you doing something stupid they can argue that you were doing something stupid (Icouldn't think of the tech term).

It came off a little more smartass than I meant it, I think Buhl was started by a harley builder who used harley built engines on streetbike frames.

Yeah. F_S Moved Out To The Country For Some Peace And Quiet And Later Learns That His Quiet Country Road Is A Favorite Of The Weekend Harley CLubs. The Niose On Saturday And Sunday Is Bad Enough, But The Skeeve Factor Of These Fat Middle Aged Guys With Frontal Baldness And Gray Pony Tails Is Just Pathetic. They're Worse Than The 60 Year Old Baldo's With Bad ComboversThat Drive Convertibles. Fat's All For Freedom To Travel, But He Is ALso All For Freedon To Put Rocks Or Branches On The ROad In Front Of His House When He Knows They Are Coming!!

agreed. i come from a family of Harley or Cruising bikes family. those rice runners are not what riding a motorcycle is about at all.

What is riding a motorcycle about then? Doing crank and raping?

Lane splitting is also legal in DC. Why are you so upset, is it because you feel they are riding their motorcycles in a dangerous fashion, or is it because they are moving through traffic faster than you?
Edit: I could be wrong about it being legal in DC, but for some reason I remember this being made legal when I was younger, or maybe it was illegal, I don't know, I don't ride a motorcycle, but I do do it on my bicycle!

I get more mad at Bicyclist in the 5 boroughs. They write letters complaining that they have no rights, yet you can't cross the street without making sure one of them isn't blowing through the red light. Or even worse, riding bikes on the sidewalk. If you want to be treated fairly, follow the rules. I guess the same principals apply with the motorized versions.

I'm joshin with you Stu. I understand the point, although I do have a problem with the idea of Harleys being the only bikes that are "real" bikes. To me the idea of a $20,000 bike being considered the only "real" bike is insane.

totally agree. plus, there are many bikes made that are not harleys that are not of the racing bike style. personally i hate the whole thug mentality of many harley riders. especially when they're like 60.

I would go with a Buell XB12S as more of a "riders" bike over most Harley's despite styling to me.
Edit: I realize Harley owns Buell before anyone says it.
